Labour Market Intelligence

Commissioned by TESP and co-funded with industry charity National Electrotechnical Training (NET), the labour market intelligence published in 2019 is the first to provide an in-depth analysis of electrotechnical skills needs in over 10 years. Research specialist Pye Tait compiled the report after surveying almost 450 electrotechnical companies, with around 19,000 employees.

Electrical Careers website

The Electrical Careers website, produced by TESP, highlights the wide range of roles, progression routes and opportunities available within the electrical industry.

The website has been designed to cater for school-leavers, experienced professionals wishing to transfer in from other sectors, and those who are already working in the industry but want to understand more about the progression routes open to them.

You Do the Maths – Electrical Careers video

In 2019 TESP has produced an aspirational careers video to inspire people about the electrical industry. This is the first of a number of careers video TESP plans to produce to help promote the industry.
